Triblade (Triggershot)
- X-listed Decepticon his whole life
Built by his Creator to be a heavy assault long-range combatant
Demotstrating before Megatron, he proceeds
However, the results are not as expected
All the shots land wide of the intended target
Megatron, emitting nothing but barely contained fury, walks away without a word
Triblade’s Creator takes his anger out on him and blames him for his humiliation
This occurs in front of the other Decepticons still present
Through beating Triblade, he tell the seekers and his other creation, Longshot, he never wants to see this scrapheap again
He is taken to the one place were Decepticons are sent to their deaths- the X-listed Barracks
Triggershot finds a broken sword and works on sharpening the edge and mounting it on his arm
Changes his name from Triggershot to Triblade
Suffers from limited optical range, so he is forced to survive by learning how to fight with hand-to-hand combat
His optical impairment worsens with higher levels of stress, such as in battle
This gets to the point that he is entirely blind
Despite this handicap, no one has caught on to how extreme his condition is , other then he has terrible aim
He is perhaps the longest surviving X-listed Decepticon, since many are likely to die in any given battle with second or third rate armor or weapons, as well as X-listed Decepticons get the bottom-of-the-barrel scraps of Energon rations if they are lucky
Medical attention is rarely given to seriously injured mechs, because it is seen as a waste of energy and supplies
He comes to trust a new x-listed Decepticon, without realizing it, who saved his life in one battle.
Triblade recognizes a pattern that no Decepticons in his unit perished whenever this particular mech was with them in combat.
He approaches Dreadheart and finally asked how someone, once part of the elite Decepticon, ended up in the x-listed units.
