Two Autobots deviate from their night patrol routes secretly to meet on a cliff outlook.
In the soft fading light on the horizon, a red Dodge Challenger chugged up the two-track dirt path to the cliff outlook up ahead. The Dodge drifted to a near stop closer to the cliff edge. A small lean figure silhouetted near the edge stood waiting.
“Well, well, well, someone’s a bit far from her home range” came a teasing voice from the direction of the Dodge.
“uh, that’s funny, the same could be said for you,” replied a feminine voice from the light enshrouded form.
The red Dodge crawled closer along the gravel ground
The two wayward transformers simply watched the fading sun as it collided with the distant horizon for several minutes lost in thought. Both stood together in silence close proxy to one another, no more than a few human feet apart really, not awkwardly, but in close comfort between friends.
