Deacon (Dee-ah-con)
Before the War
1. Smaller prosperous city centered around the largest Learning and Research Institute on Cybertron
2. Mixed population of Autobots and Decepticons
3. The Research Center houses many secret technological research projects that are a joint effort between individual Autobots and Decepticons
5. The city is unique in that it is free from the sphere of influence of the two major factions
6.The Research Center attracted leading scientists and specialists from all over Cybertron in the scientific fields of Energy Conservation and Production, as well as several areas of Engineering
7. Rumor has it the Research Center was conducting research on the long forgotten plasma chamber
8. In truth, Deacon’s engineers managed to replicate the physics of the plasma chamber on a smaller scale and stabilize the energy.
9. Deacon is located in the middle of what would become the Wastelands of Uraya during the war
During the War
1. Fell early in the 3rd Cybertronian War from Decepticon forces ransacking the Research Complex looking for the store of knowledge. Search was fruitless, so Megatron ordered the city destroyed
2. Total numbers of causalities are unknown
3. Survivors fled to the underground catacombs and bunkers during the Decepticon strike
4. Deacon Citizens, Autobots, Neutrals, and Decepticons alike, survived by processing energon from the prototype plasma generator hidden deep beneath the ruined city.
5. Dreadheart and his x-listed forces are left for dead in the wasteland on the surface above Deacon.
6. The survivors take a chance and re-energize the x-listed decepticons.
7. Dreadheart speaks to his forces about the city’s secret and how the generator could turn the war into Megatron’s favor.
8. Dreadheart does not wish to give Megatron such an advantage and is greatly surprised by the unanimous support of his mechs.
9. Such is the first display of unwavering loyalty the x-listed Decepticon have shown as a whole towards Dreadheart.
10. Over the next couple million years, Dreadheart’s small force of 50 decepticons act to protect and secure the remaining survivors of Deacon with a mixed populace of 4,000 decepticons, Autobots, and neutrals.
